Gary Austin
For more than 24 years Gary has been a facilitator and consultant with clients across all industries, in the private, public and third sectors. He worked as a senior consultant in an in-house consultancy before co-developing/founding circleindigo in 1999. Gary has wide experience of group, collaborative and participative working and has specialised in the design and facilitation of change based workshops and interventions including strategic, business and project planning, requirements definition, problem solving/issue resolution, project lifecycle, partnering, change and transition, team development and Joint Application Development (JAD) workshops.


Gilbert Brenson-Lazan
Social Psychologist with thirty-three years of international experience in facilitation, training and consulting, he has pioneered professional facilitation in Latin America. He is author of 28 books, founder of the Neo-Humanist Foundation, former Vice-Chair International of the International Association of Facilitators - IAF and Co-Founder and Past President of the Global Facilitator Service Corps. As founder and principal of Amauta International, he optimizes the effectiveness of those who facilitate, lead and manage processes of sustainable cultural transformation in organizations and communities.
Izzy Gesell
Izzy Gesell, MS Ed, CSP is an "organizational alchemist." As a keynote speaker, workshop leader, professional facilitator and presentation coach his skill is in transforming something commonplace into something special.His humorously serious and seriously humorous programs help people thrive and prosper during these difficult, changing times as they become more confident, positive, spontaneous and effective.

Mirja Hanson
Mirja P. Hanson is a facilitator, trainer and management consultant specializing in organizational development, participatory decision-making, strategic planning, policy consensus building, and community and leadership development. She develops collaborative processes to enable groups to transform input and discussion into shared decisions, working agreements, and focused action. Among her many civic activities, Mirja was the first president of Global Facilitator Service Corps.
Viv McWaters
"I once wanted to be an astronomical photographer but settled for agricultural journalist. I worked in government for many years doing publicity, community education, training and strategy development. One thing led to another and now I blog, work with groups doing leadership and other development programs, play with process, deliver some interactive training and mentoring and generally love being alive...I also offer some training courses for others who want to learn how to facilitate."

Sybil Stershic
Sybil is a nationally known marketing & organizational advisor and leading authority on engaging employees through internal marketing. She is the author of Taking Care of the People Who Matter Most: A Guide to Employee-Customer Care and the Quality Service Marketing blog. She founded Quality Service Marketing in 1988 to provide internal marketing, customer-focused marketing training, and mission-focused strategic planning to clients in service-based industries. Active in leadership and professional development, Sybil is a former Chairman of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and served on a U.S. Census Bureau Advisory Committee. In addition to serving on the GFSC Advisory Council, she is a member of BoardSource and the International Association of Facilitators.

Stephen Thorpe

Stephen Thorpe is a group facilitator, researcher and trainer who specialises in online groups. With a background in researching and teaching computer assisted group work. Stephen assists leaders, facilitators and groups in online communication and group process to bring about change through the bringing together of community organisation and the internet....Working with Zenergy (New Zealand), Stephen has been researching ways to enhance the effectiveness of online groups. His PhD explores facilitation as a vital domain in assisting online groups with a focus on the benefits of story in online relationship development.
Julia Young
Julia Young is a co-founder of Facilitate.com, developer of web meeting software whose signature product, FacilitatePro, offers collaboration tools for innovative thinking and decision making. Julia has over 20 years of experience as a facilitator and process consultant, the last fifteen of which have been focused on the integration of collaboration technology into group processes. Combining the logical mind of an engineer and a facilitator's attention to group dynamics, Julia seeks to explore how technology can augment the effectiveness of work teams.
